I started Orange Hill in 2007 with a simple belief: that craft matters more than scale, and that the right technology applied with precision beats a dozen mediocre solutions applied with enthusiasm.

For the first decade we built things — websites, applications, content systems. We helped build the Laravel developer community in Serbia. We created Photon CMS, which today powers backends for clients from national chambers of commerce to AI companies in the UAE. We got good at knowing which problems technology actually solves and which ones it only appears to.

Then AI changed everything. Not in the breathless way the headlines describe — but in the real, practical way that changes how work gets done. I spent two years immersed in it before we started offering it to clients. I wanted to understand it perfectly to be honest about it.

Today Orange Hill sits at the intersection of AI strategy, automation engineering, and software craft. We are a small, deliberate team operating from Vienna and Belgrade. We work with companies that want a serious partner, not a vendor.
